Over 1,000 concerned parents turned up in Sacramento to speak out against California Senate Bill 277 (SB277) which would eliminate most exemptions for childhood vaccines. After 3-1/2 hours of testimony, the senators decided to table the vote until the following week. The vote scheduled for next week is set up as “vote only, no debate.” Clearly, the senators were afraid to vote Yes in front of over 1,000 constituents demanding a No vote on SB277 to retain their right to protect their children from hazardous and ineffective vaccines. Even if there is not going to be any debate, it would be good for another 1,000 concerned parents to line the halls outside the senate chambers next week.
